I gained my PhD from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sheffield and I have been an Operations Manager in decontamination services since 2016. I worked at STERIS Corporation, and I have been in Barnsley as Operations Manager for Medical Engineering and Decontamination Services since December 2020.
Facts about me
I love working as Operations Manager because it is a varied and intellectually stimulating job, where I can use my problem-solving skills and passion about the healthcare industry and the safety of our patients.
I work to improve the quality and the processes. I deal with technicians and managers at the same time, I learn about standards and regulations and I need to know the technicality of the process inside out. I manage budget, people and opportunities: It is a whole rounded job and I love it.
