Heart Awards 2026

The glitzy, black-tie evening, hosted by radio and TV presenter Stephanie Hirst, was attended by almost 200 guests who enjoyed a three-course meal and award presentation, then danced the night away. 

We  recently came together for a truly special evening – the Barnsley Hospital Heart Awards 2026 – to celebrate the incredible dedication, compassion, and teamwork of our colleagues and volunteers.

With hundreds of nominations, it was clear just how much of a difference you all make every day to our patients and visitors. This latest edition of Proud News is dedicated to all our nominees, finalists and winners – you inspire us with your commitment and care
